ABOUT JENNI
Humane | Effective | Efficient
Method
I teach dogs to follow directions and leadership by using a progressive communication system that they naturally understand. This brings out a canine mind that is regulated and able to focus and learn.
My teaching methods for skills and behaviors are rewards based - this encompasses using things like food, play, and channeling built-in canine drives and desires as motivators. By using what a dog finds rewarding as their foundation, he learns trust, expectations, and a strong bond with their owner and trainer.
I am a balanced trainer, firmly grounded in positive reinforcement. I take a holistic approach to training dogs, and use the least intrusive, minimally aversive approach possible for each dog. Teaching methods focus on the use of rewards, and I am trained and experienced in the proper humane use of all tools needed as necessary and appropriate for the safety and long term effectiveness of the training.
