SMS Messaging Terms & Compliance
1. Program Description: This messaging program sends appointment confirmation and reminder messages to customers who have booked an appointment with Mad Dog K9 Behavior & Training LLC through our website at maddogk9.com, or via our scheduling forms, and have explicitly opted in to receive SMS notifications. Opt-in is collected via web forms with a dedicated checkbox for SMS consent. Messages include scheduling confirmations, appointment reminders, rescheduling updates, and customer support communications.
2. Cancellation Instructions: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text "STOP" to the same number that sent you messages. Upon sending "STOP," we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.
3. Support Information: If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword "HELP" for more assistance, or reach out directly to jenni@maddogk9.com or call 830-282-8831 during business hours.
4. Carrier Liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies based on your service usage and appointment schedule. For questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.
6. Supported Carriers: Our SMS program works with all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and most regional carriers.
7. Age Restriction: You must be 18 years or older to participate in our SMS program.

We comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CTIA guidelines, regarding the use of SMS communications.

Our services are educational and training services only. We do not provide veterinary medical care, veterinary behavioral medicine, or animal health care services. No specific training outcome or behavioral result is guaranteed, as each dog responds differently based upon genetics, health, environment, consistency of training, and owner participation. Owners remain solely responsible for supervising and safely handling their dogs at all times. Clients should consult their veterinarian regarding any medical condition and a qualified veterinary behaviorist when appropriate.
Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that working with dogs involves inherent risks, including but not limited to bites, scratches, falls, leash injuries, unpredictable animal behavior, property damage, and injuries to persons or other animals. By participating in our services, you voluntarily assume all such risks on behalf of yourself, your family members, guests, and your dog(s), except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Virtual Services
Certain services may be provided remotely through telephone or video conferencing. Because we cannot observe every aspect of your environment or your dog's behavior remotely, recommendations are based solely upon the information provided by you. You remain solely responsible for implementing all recommendations safely, supervising your dog, and determining whether any recommendation is appropriate for your specific circumstances. If your dog presents an immediate risk of injury to persons or animals, you should discontinue training and seek appropriate local professional assistance immediately.

Appointments, Cancellations, and Refunds
Appointment dates are reserved specifically for each client. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, cancellations or rescheduling requests received less than twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled appointment may be charged the full appointment fee. Missed appointments and no-shows may be treated as completed sessions. Refunds are issued solely at the Company's discretion unless otherwise required by law.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Site, without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms of Service or engaged in conduct that we deem inappropriate or unlawful. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Site and any content obtained from it.
Governing Law; Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Texas without regard to conflict of law principles.
